South East Young Professionals Presentation Competition

The ability to make an engaging presentation and field probing questions from industry professionals, is recognised as a key skill for those working in highways and transportation.

Details of future awards are being discussed by the committee. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.

This award gives young professionals a chance to gain that practice, by providing them with the opportunity to put together a 10 minute presentation on an industry-related topic of their choice and to present it to peers from the profession.

The competition provides an opportunity for young professionals to:

  • Demonstrate their talent to the engineering community and peers
  • Develop skills and confidence in public speaking
  • Improve their overall presentation skills
  • Contribute to their continuing professional development (CPD) record
