FREE STUDENT MEMBERSHIP for full-time students with an interest in highways and transportation 

Students in employment who are enrolled on a part-time course of study pay an annual membership fee of £30.00. When part-time student members complete their course, they can convert to Graduate Member (GradCIHT) or Member (MCIHT) grade for a reduced subscription fee of only £50 in their first year of membership.

Eligibility

Student or Part-time student - Be enrolled on a full-time or part-time relevant study course.

  

CIHT Student Fees

Full-time students who are enrolled on highways and transportation related courses can join CIHT for FREE as a Student Member.

Students in employment who are enrolled on a part-time course of study pay an annual membership fee of £25.00. When part-time Student Members complete their course, they can convert to Graduate Member (GradCIHT) or Member (MCIHT) grade for a reduced subscription fee of only £50 in their first year of membership.

What you need before you apply

To ensure the online application process is as efficient as possible you will be asked to provide these additional details as part of your application:

  • Details of your current course
  • Contact details for your course leader
    • the person must be directly responsible for your study / training (e.g. Course Leader/Training Officer), and does not need to be a member of CIHT.
