Support from employers can be given in several ways:

Allowing time off for candidates to prepare their Portfolio
Covering the fees required for the TPP Qualification and CTPP application
Providing a mentor (or mentors) for candidates to guide them through the TPP process including advising candidates on their Portfolio and Professional Review interview
Encouraging staff to join the CIHT and/or TPS and paying the fees
Ensuring staff undertake appropriate CPD and authenticating their records
Registering for a licence for the Professional Development Scheme for transport planners

Achieving the TPP qualification requires a significant level of commitment by candidates and employer support is extremely valuable to them.
