The MSc Transport Planning course, which opened it’s doors to students in 2021, has been developed with input from industry. The TPP approval means that graduates of this course have a clear route to becoming Chartered Transport Planning Professionals as they are eligible to take the standard route to TPP Professional Review.

The TPP qualification recognises the high levels of skill and experience of transport planners and is jointly awarded by the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Transport Planning Society.  Candidates must demonstrate their competence in a broad range of professional and technical transport planning skills.

Successful candidates can register as Chartered Transport Planning Professionals (CTPP), recognising their professional achievement against this distinguished benchmark.
