The MSc Transport Planning and Engineering has been running at Edinburgh Napier since 1991 and a number of alumni from the course have gone on to achieve Chartered Transport Planning Professional (CTPP). Retaining the TPP approval means graduates meet the knowledge requirements for the TPP qualification and can follow in the footsteps of their alumni and take the standard route to Professional Review.

The TPP qualification recognises the high levels of skill and experience of transport planners and is jointly awarded by the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Transport Planning Society.  Candidates must demonstrate their competence in a broad range of professional and technical transport planning skills.

Successful candidates can register as Chartered Transport Planning Professionals (CTPP), recognising their professional achievement against this distinguished benchmark.
