Welcome form the Chair, Jonathan Spear

Three years since our foundation, we continue to see a growing membership and community of interested highways and transport professionals in Dubai and the UAE.

Our programme of seminars, in particular, are designed to cover a range of contemporary technical topics, techniques and avenues to qualifications.

We organise these activities online and face-to-face with various public, private and academic sector partners, attracting interest from a wider audience well beyond the UAE’s borders and complementing the return of major transport-related conferences and events across the GCC following the end of the pandemic.

Within this newsletter you will find details of the Dubai Committee, information on online seminars, updates on our 2023 Business Plan, professional qualifications, and a profile of one of our members.

The Dubai Group exists to organise technical, membership and social events which share and develop knowledge, ideas and skills amongst highways and transport professionals in the UAE. We extend our thanks to all those who have helped us in this goal in 2022 through various contributions and look forward to further fruitful collaboration in 2023. Our second Annual General Meeting will be held in May 2023 so please get in touch if you wish to get involved.
