Both these policies identify transport and infrastructure as a key sector to deliver more for the environment. One way to do this is through Biodiversity Net Gain or Environmental Net Gain. We will provide background on these concepts, provide an overview of new and emerging policies on net gain and demonstrate how net gain can be embedded in transport development projects using examples from WSP’s work.
