Led by CIHT Qatar, this event will look at conducting road safety during site visits. The webinar will include a live Q&A session with the speaker, Miguel-Angel Serrano Santos.
For those who are currently in Qatar, the event will begin at 18:00 Arabian Standard Time.
Road-workers are a rarely appreciated, high chastised group of people who put themselves in harm’s way on a daily basis. While ensuring that our roadways are safe and maintained, this group comes face to face with danger at an alarming rate. In a study recently published by the Associated General Contractors, an astounding number of accidents is recorded in Work zones involving road-workers and road users.
The high severity impact as well as the increased numbers of accidents leads Engineers in the Road Safety field to be cautious when we undertake Road Safety Audits (or Site inspections). This presentation aims to highlight what to do, and what to avoid during the site visits on public road networks.
