Workshop 1 & 2: Theory Session

Road Safety Audit(RSA) became a requirement under the Transport Planning & Design Manual (TPDM) since 2019 for public road projects from feasibility study to investigation, design and construction phases.
CIHT is organising this RSA workshop to deepen the understanding among auditors and designers. The workshop will be conducted over 3 days, which will cover the audit process and on-site practices. Based on his latest experience, the instructor will address important road safety problems relating to alignment, junctions, signage, roadside design, pedestrian facilities, etc. for a variety of road and traffic projects.
lr Julian Kwong
Julian, Director of CHAUSSEES Limited, is an experienced road safety auditor with a portfolio of more than 80 audits for a diversity of road projects in Hong Kong. He has been a consultant to the United Nations, Asian Development Bank, and national authorities of China on road safety design standards and road safety audit for expressway and highway projects.
Online registration is required. Participants need to attend all three sessions of the workshop to meet the CPD requirement. The number of participants is limited to 15 and applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Priority will be given to members of the CIHT. Deadline for the registration is 6 June 2023.
