CIHT East of England are delighted to announce the return of their annual conference and awards for 2023, on 23 October 2023 at The Belfry Hotel, Cambourne, CB23 6BW.
This year will see the combination of the annual conference and awards, with the awards being announced at this years conference.
The aim of the conference is to emphasise the urgency of achieving net zero and provide insight into regional solutions for developing a more sustainable and low carbon future. It will be a thought-provoking day of learning and will be an opportunity to network with other professionals within the sector.
We will be joined by experts within highways and transportation who will present a range of initiatives for addressing the climate emergency.
The conference is approved for CPD by CIHT and will account for a total of 5 hours of CPD.
UPDATE: The awards dinner has been removed from the schedule, this does not affect the conference programme which remains as scheduled. The winners of the CIHT East of England Awards will be announced at the conference.
Individual tickets can be bought for the conference - these are split by CIHT member and non-member options.

Key Note Speaker: - Hannah Staunton, Head of Communications at East West Rail
Hannah’s decade in communications spans a wide range of industries and projects, always with a large element of infrastructure and the built environment. She is passionate about conducting meaningful and impactful conversations with local communities, and has lead consultations for King’s Cross Station, Gatwick Airport and the Earls Court Redevelopment. She is now Head of Communications at the East West Railway Company.

The Awards recognise the outstanding contribution that good projects and people make to our daily lives.
