A proven delivery partner
Sisk is an innovative engineering and construction company who continue to deliver some of the most complex major road, rail and infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally. Founded in 1859, Sisk remains a family owned business with a turnover in excess of £1.5 billion annually.
One of the things we are most proud about are our values: care, integrity, excellence. The values are evident in the behaviours of our people who continually go the extra mile, proactively seeking to make a positive difference to our clients and the communities in which we operate. This helps explain why we benefit from high levels of repeat business.
What makes Sisk different to many of our competitors is our genuine, award winning approach to partnership. This isn’t just a process in Sisk, it’s a passion that extends through our clients, consultants and supply chain. Collaboration is second nature to our people and we proactively share skills and experience throughout all phases of delivery and across the wide range of Frameworks in which we operate.
Whilst our approach continues to be founded on solid engineering principles, we have complemented this in recent years by adding in house BIM capability and investing in multiple digital technologies. We are well placed to meet the challenges of the changing construction market maximising off site construction and standardising delivery where possible.
Sustainability: Building today, caring for tomorrow
Our ambition is to lead the industry with the sustainable management of our operations throughout their entire lifecycle, whilst upholding our core values of care, integrity and excellence that delivers for our people and our planet. Our responsibility is to ensure that our operations meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
In 2021, we were proud to achieve carbon neutral status and receive a CDP ‘A’ (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) Supplier Engagement Rating.
