Certificate of Competency | SoRSA

The SoRSA Certificate of Competence (CoC) is a nationally and internationally recognised assessment that validates your expertise in road safety engineering, collision investigation and/or road safety auditing.

 

 

 

Who is the Certificate of Competency aimed at?

The CoC is aimed at road safety auditors who work on Trunk roads and Motorways, with extensive knowledge and expertise of road safety engineering, collision investigation and/or road safety auditing and who are now ready to gather the required evidence and produce a Portfolio of Evidence.

 

How can you achieve the Certificate of Competency?

The CoC is achieved by completing and submitting a Portfolio of Evidence and having it assessed by SoRSA reviewers against the Highways England Standard GG119 (previously HD 19/15).

 


 

Submission deadlines 

There are no deadlines and you can submit your Portfolio of Evidence at any time during the year at membership@ciht.org.uk

Fees 

CIHT and SoRSA members:  £100

Non-members:                    £125 

(Fees are VAT exempt)
