In recent years the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges has been undergoing an extensive review process, with the intention to provide a more consistent structure, clearer and more concise information to its users, and to simplify and enable more regular future updates.
New documents are currently being introduced every month, with the publication of all documents due to be completed by the Spring of 2020.
Transport Scotland and the other UK devolved authorities have supported Highways England throughout the process, through document review, challenge, attendance at Technical Project Board meetings and preparation of National Annexes.
The DMRB review is a significant development and will affect project delivery across a wide range of disciplines. The session will therefore be of interest to everyone who is involved in projects following DMRB.
Join Graeme McQuaker and Alan Oliver from the Standards Branch at Transport Scotland for an update on the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) review. The update will focus on:
We also invite you to join us for some networking drinks, following the update session (within the same venue).
