CIHT’s Procurement and Delivery Panel are hosting an interactive workshop event on the theme of collaborative procurement and delivery of projects. The full-day workshop will feature 3 speakers delivering each their own perspective on collaborative procurement, with perspectives on the role of the Integrator, with each session being followed by group discussions with a wide range of industry stakeholders.
This workshop is now fully booked. Thank you for your interest.
The Integrator role has been introduced into recent major procurements - some would say re-introduced – as an enabler for generating greater collaboration and effective delivery of major projects. But what exactly is the role and how will it work? How does it fit within the contractual framework and who is best placed to do it?
This interactive workshop, targeted at practitioners involved in infrastructure delivery across the transport sector, will explore and challenge how this can best serve the delivery process.

Edward will deliver key insights and learnings from working with major clients and contractors.
Mark Borland, Head of Procurement and Delivery, Highways England:
Mark will talk about HE’s Routes to Market procurement strategy, the role of the Integrator, and the challenges and opportunities this presents for clients, contractors and project managers working on long term collaborative contracts and the efficiencies and innovations that can be generated.
Tom Flatau, Chief Executive, Teamworking International:
Tom will explore how integration and engagement through a complex relationship requires frequent negotiation between partners. He will focus in on behaviours, negotiation skills and role of neuroscience in supporting successful outcomes.
